OUR POLICIES

Code of Conduct
All participants are encouraged to make every effort to maintain progress in their training while being assured our staff will provide necessary support to attain this. Our courses are only conducted by qualified and experienced trainers. Trainers are responsible for preparing and presenting material to meet a required appropriate standard. Participants will be assessed objectively and fairly to determine their competency and understanding of the material.

Enrolment Conditions
Australian Health and Safety Training access to courses is subject to:
Course entry requirements being met Availability of classes Course fees are payable in advance and should be made payable to Australian Health and Safety Training Sufficient enrolments in the class Registration Fees Australian Health and Safety Training reserves the right to determine registration fees for courses.

Refund Policy
A full refund of fees will be given if:
Australian Health and Safety Training cancels a course A participant gives notice, in writing, that they will not be attending the course seven days prior to the commencement date for that course a 50% refund on fees will be given when a participant withdraws from the course seven days of less from the commencement date. No refund will be given once the course has commenced. To request a refund a participant should apply in writing to Australian Health and Safety Training stating the amount, course details and reasons that the refund is desired. A copy of the receipt for the amount paid must accompany the request. Refunds will only be made to the party making the original payment.

Assessment
Courses are delivered to meet the Australian Quality Training Framework (AQTF) Standards required by approved Registered Training Organisations. Assessment of courses on the Scope of Registration will be conducted to meet competency standards. A statement of attainment will be issued to successful applicants. Assessed tasks may include in-class activities, exercise, group work, practical demonstrations, written and/or oral theory tests. Participants have the right to appeal against assessment decisions. Any appeal related to assessment must be lodged within five days of course completion and may attract an appeal administratioin fee which if successful will be refunded.

Privacy Policy
Your privacy is respected by Australian Health and Safety Training, information collected will be used in course administration and may be provided to training staff. You will normally be reminded when your current certificate expires and may be provided with information on first aid training courses and first aid kits with Australian Health and Safety Training. If you do not want to receive certificate expiry reminders etc or have privacy concerns or would like to verify information held about you, please contact customer service on 1300 655 135.

Marketing policy
Australian Health and Safety Training has an advertising policy that ensures that written permission is obtained before any information pertaining to participants is used in marketing or promotional material. Australian Health and Safety Training identifies the Australian Qualification Framework level of courses and separate accredited and non-accredited courses in its advertisements. It accurately represents training products to prospective clients.
